The Steel Sorceress (鋼鉄の魔女 Kōtetsu no Majo) is the 71st chapter of Hiro Mashima's Edens Zero.
The Edens Zero has been invaded by three intruders. They easily take out the minimum defenses, forcing Witch to confront them and defend her home.
Summary
Witch making an Ether Shield
Witch detects the intruders and asks permission from Homura to unlock her Battle Dress, but connection is still jammed. Happy asks what that is, which Hermit answers is their battle outfits. Sister tells her to just use it. Meanwhile, Shiki's group finds that the dock is locked down, planning on forcing their way through. However, Drakken warns them not to, as he has taken their crew hostage. Back in the Edens Zero, the minimum defenses of the ship are easily taken care of by Seth, who shoots down the gun turrets, and Diego, tearing the mechanical restraints apart. They soon encounter Witch, who blocks Seth's bullets with an Ether shield. She announces that as the Shields of Edens, she will remove the intruders and requips into her Assault Witch battle dress. The intruders think that it is hilarious that she wants to fight them and Diego prepares to fire, but Witch freezes his gun solid with Ice Ether.
Witch defeats the invaders
Maria gets the "witch" moniker, stretches her leg to the ceiling, and asks if there's a princess onboard that continues the fantasy theme. Rebecca wonders what power Witch is using, which Hermit states that Witch manipulates Ether like Magic. She then takes a panel of the ceiling off and kicks it to Witch, but she dodges it with Air Ether. Maria is surprised that she changed her Ether's element while Witch dodges another of her kicks. Witch then touches the ground sending Lightning Ether to shock them, where they wonder how she can change her element at will. Hermit states that this is why they call her the "Steel Sorceress", as the three intruders lie in the defeat. Witch claims that the people on the ship are family to her and if anyone or anything threatens them, then she will show no mercy. Sister hurriedly stops Witch, as she wants to torture them. Hermit fixes the communication and informs Shiki's group that they took care of the enemies, making them cheer and wonder how they beat them. Hermit tries to get them to come back as staying longer could make things worse. However, Shiki decides that he'll handle it as they attacked his home. Meanwhile, Drakken is impressed and prepares to unleash the Element 4.
