Survive the Night (この夜を生き抜け Kono Yoru o Ikinuke) is the 34th chapter of Hiro Mashima's Edens Zero.

After Hermit rejects to join the Crew of Edens, the group wonders what happened to her to despise humans. Suddenly, a army of monsters arrive and under the orders of Jamilov attack the town of its NPCs, with a group of flying monsters heading towards the location of Hermit!

Summary

At Benjamin's Inn, Shiki and the others wonder what happened to Hermit to make her hate humans. Shiki states that he never met a machine that hates humans, where he lists those who don't being Happy, Pino, Witch, and Sister. He then mentions Michael but remembers the bots of Granbell stating how humans are their enemies and start crying. Weisz tells him to stop and complains about how heavy his avatar's breasts are. Suddenly, they hear the bell ring and find an army of monsters coming from outside of the town. An imp blows its horn but is promptly squashed by the commander Guiron of the Magical Beast Army. He announces that by Jamilov's orders they will kill the NPCs of Crysta and leave the players for him. Afterward, the monsters will be killed by Jamilov for experience and they cheer in excitement. The monster army then charges, when Shiki leaps and defeats a group of them. They notice a group of flying monsters heading to the hill Hermit is on, making Shiki go to her and leaving the monster army to them.

Weisz complains to him that they can't use their Ether Gears. Rebecca and Happy prepare for battle, noting that Homura is with them. However, they notice that she's gone, which Weisz points out that she's more despicable than he is. Elsewhere Homura contacts Jesse if he's alright, which he confirms. Tired of the job, Homura asks where Jamilov is and Jesse tells her that he is in the western forest. He asks if she's going to abandon Shiki and the others, which she replies that while they're not bad people they've already done their part. Meanwhile, Hermit sees the horde of monsters coming for her. She laments that this is better than getting killed by humans and accepts her death, saying good night. However, Shiki saves her just in time and greets her.
