Within the Stillness of Time (静かなる時の中で Shizukanaru Toki no Naka de) is the 249th chapter of Hiro Mashima's Edens Zero.

With time frozen, Rebecca defends herself from the intruder.

Summary

Rebecca stands noticing that only she can move, but quickly goes down because it is freezing in the snow. However, she notices the intruder floating behind her, who then starts attacking her with her metal hair. She saves Feather from being hit, but is soon kicked out of the water. She realizes that she could get clothes using her Overdrive, but is unable to as she is too cold to user her powers. The intruder grabs her and tosses her through the wall and into the men's bath, hitting Shiki. She apologizes to him, but remembers that time is still frozen. She feels the familiarity of this situation, likening it to her first Universe jump from World No. 29 to World No. 30 and remembers Witch saying that in the can one easily activate the Ether in their bodies. However, because she does not have her time traveling powers in Universe 0, she speculates that this is the intruder's power. She catches a glimpse of her collar, reading "Joker", before she is kicked out of the bah and into a building.

She grabs a towel and runs inside to get warm, all the while the intruder chases after her on all fours. The intruder climbs up on the ceiling before kicking Rebecca through the floor. She finds herself in a room full of gears, thinking it is an engine room, where the intruder quickly follows. Now sufficiently warmer, she fights back and kicks her opponent around the place. She enters Overdrive and finishes it with Bellholy Needle, leaving her on the floor beaten up. She asks who the intruder is, but wonders if she can even talk. The intruder starts to get up, which Rebecca is ready to fight some more. Suddenly, someone shoots the intruder from behind, who reveals that she was an alter ego of Joker, one of Void's minions, and not the real Joker. The shooter is revealed to be Professor Weisz Steiner, who greets Rebecca, saying that it has been a long time.
