Madame Kurenai (紅婦人 Kurenai Fujin) is the 50th chapter of Hiro Mashima's Edens Zero.

The crew visits the wealthy sector Sun Jewel in order to find Valkyrie but and up in the middle of a robbery. Meanwhile, Drakken makes a deal with Madame Kurenai to find the Edens Zero.

Summary

Having arrived on Sun Jewel, Shiki and the others start in Gold Palace. Happy wonders where Weisz is, which Pino answers that he stayed on the ship to work on a weapon. He also doesn't trust Connor to be alone with the Shining Stars and Mosco, so he will join them after the weapon is finished. Homura wonders to herself where Valkyrie is on the planet. They visit Casino Paradise, an exclusive VIP casino where all the information funnels through. Pino suggests they split up to gather information, but Homura shouts that she's trying to find her mentor. Rebecca talks with her to be more careful to not draw too much attention and that Valkyrie may have gotten into trouble since she last saw her. Unaware that a mechanical bird watches this transpires. Suddenly, someone starts shooting and orders everyone to stay on the floor. Everyone complies and Happy thinks this is a robbery. Shiki, still standing, notes how big the leader's face is, but is told that it's a mask. He then kicks a table at the leader and punches him with Gravity Fist.

The dog masked robber starts shooting at him, but Shiki jumps back and starts running on the walls. Homura then attacks the dog robber from behind and together with Shiki finishes the rest of the group. Suddenly, a light surrounds the robbers, a voice speaks that she does not tolerate criminals on her planet, and the crowd cheers for Madame Kurenai. The robbers panic that she wasn't supposed to know and the dog masked robber realizes his satellite jammer must have broke when he was hit. Madame Kurenai then declares that they must be punished and dyed crimson. The robbers apologize, but the light surrounding them glows brighter, vaporizing them and leaves a deep red stain. The crowd cheers for Madame Kurenai for protecting them, where one man tells Shiki not to be reckless after thanking him, as the planet will be safe thanks to Kurenai. Rebecca questions his meaning of safe and notes that something is very wrong with this planet. Meanwhile, Drakken Joe has a meeting with Madame Kurenai, complimenting her weapon, Satellite Blaze. He requests her to use it to find the Edens Zero. Elsewhere in the poor sector, the mechanical bird appears before a man and shows footage of Homura. The man remarks that he always expected her to come here and asks Valkyrie on what to do.
