Summary
Shiki punches Garrot
Shiki faces Garrot, who lashes his whip at him. Shiki dodges, but Garrot tells him that his whip can go wherever he wants, but is surprised that Shiki is able to avoid it and is punched in the face to the ground with Gravity Fist. Afterward, Shiki throws him into the ceiling, hanging from a hole, and unties Homura. She tells him how she learned that Ether Gear can't be used when their hands are tied and Shiki wants to try, surprised that he can't as well. Homura then wants to ask Garrot about Valkyrie, but doubts he knows anything. However, the warden reveals that he knows her very well. Meanwhile, in an underground tunnel, Rebecca thanks Nino for leading them to the Labor District. She remembers that she's not supposed to talk, but Nino says it's alright as they don't listen in on where they are. Pino wonders how he knows that and he reveals that on Sun Jewel, he's known as Kenzaiten Nino and that he works for Madame Kurenai. He informs them that she's looking for a ship called "Edens Zero" and used her audio surveillance to locate anyone who said Edens Zero. She asks why Kurenai would want it, which Nino doesn't know and that he was just ordered to capture the one who said it, being Rebecca, but after seeing her in Ruby Wobble cosplay he decided to help her.
Paul waiting for Rebecca
Happy notes that he would get in trouble if he disobeyed Kurenai, but Nino states he won't as she's terrifying. Instead, he'll say that he couldn't find her, making this where his help ends. He tells Rebecca that the Labor District is dangerous, so once she finds her friends then they should leave the planet. He departs and the three enter the Labor District. They see a small robot bird, who leads them to a man upside-down. He claims that he is in the middle of his meditation but Rebecca sits in the normal meditation pose. He then spins past her, still upside-down, and steals her B-Cube. Rebecca wonders how he did that, which he answers is the power of his Steal Hand, allowing him to teleport objects in a short distance, which Rebecca points out that he's a thief. The man then states that's how he was convicted there and steals her underwear. She calls him a lecher and demands him to give her underwear back. He asks that they're looking for Valkyrie and that he knows what brought them there. He introduces himself as Paul, Valkyrie's disciple. He was taken on after she came there but has never met Homura who Valkyrie told him about. Paul states he couldn't believe Homura actually tracked her mentor to this planet and contemplates giving Rebecca a B-Cube. He informs her that the truth is recorded in it, why Valkyrie left Homura, why she came to this planet, and why she's never coming back.
