TB-400-02 (TB-400-02), codenamed Johnny (ジョニー Jonī), was one of the robots found by Shiki who were treated as toys and discarded by Sibir.[1]

Appearance

Johnny shares much of his appearance with Michael, being the same model, being a gray short machine with a very simple design. However, he is in a state of severe disrepair, having an exposed head, several cracks, dents, and chipped pieces across his body, most notably missing his left arm and possibly his left leg.[2]

Personality

Johnny is a polite robot, gently correcting Shiki for his mistake and telling him that he can stop repairing him. Because of the abuse from Sibir, Johnny had thought all humans to be just as cruel but is glad to have met Shiki before powering down.[1]

Johnny is found by Shiki

In the scrap heap, Johnny lays dormant and broken as Shiki finds him and mistakes him for Michael.[2] He activates and introduces himself, correcting Shiki, noting how common of a mistake it is as his model was mass-produced. He tells the young man that they are in a scrap heap, where he and the other bots are just trash now. Shiki tries to fix him and opens his chest, much to the bot's surprise. However Johnny tells him that he can stop, but the boy insists that he can. He remarks how kind Shiki is, telling him how Sibir made him and the others his toys, throwing them away when they broke. He says how he thought all humans were like him but is glad that the last human he meets is Shiki and powers down.[1]
